Grace Community Church Downham Market

This is one of a series of events to raise money for a building project in Kuffu, Uganda where we are proving long-term support to the children of this struggling village. The aim of this specific event is to build a perimeter wall that will help to protect the children from slave traders.

You are invited to join us for a Curanto Pit Barbecue at Rosewood Cottage, Stowbridge Road at 5pm on Saturday 24th September.

The 'Curanto' is South American method of slow cooking in the ground. The cooked food comes out of the pit 'perfect' - a real mouth-watering experience. And it will be served with home-made apple wine!

Of course, this is a money-raising event and although tickets are free we are sure you will want to give generously - think what you'd have to pay elsewhere for such a brilliant meal!
