Hello everyone and may God be in your hearts. Here at Grace Community Church, Downham Market, we have a good mix of ages throughout our congregation, from mums with bumps in their tummies and new borns to the grand old age of 80+. yet we still seem to grow and grow each week. I am sure most of you are aware that if you have a machine or a clock it takes the big wheels and the little wheels to make everything run perfectly and within Grace Community Church we feel that the children are an absolutely vital part of the church. The name “Little COGs ” which we think sums up everything wonderfully, the children are the little cogs in a bigger team and without them the whole thing would not be such a great family. " C.O.G." stands for 'Children of Grace' so therefore we have the 'Little Children of Grace'. We regularly meet at Stowbridge Village Hall (Sundays from 1030am), during the regular service for the adults and youth, this means that we can divide the children into smaller groups. We have three groups “Under 4s” who meet in the crèche area at the back of the main meeting and then the remainder of the children are split into a younger and older group. Feel free to come along with your children to see how wonderful our ’little COGs’ group is? You never know? We might impress you in to joining us too! If you have any questions about our Children’s Work within the church, please do not hesitate to email me Katrina Miller, via the website. The Children are the Church of Today and take part in every aspect of church life. Katrina x Written/Edited by David Usher on behalf of Katrina Miller. |
